Antihistamine : Please provide a dose of Children's Benadryl every 6 hours for 1-2 days. The hives reaction which is one cause of your child's rash should be observed. Following treatment and avoidance of possible triggers such as insect bites, the reaction should be begin to lessen. Watch for signs of respiratory difficulty/drooling, and other changes, and if these occur, please see the ED. PCP/follow up in 24 h
