My husband has had a stiff neck for 5 days now, headaches started on friday, temp yesterday and today 38.8. he had meningitis in 19998 and says he feels like he could have it again. please advise if we should have him tested for covid.

ER: I agree with Dr. Barnard. he has a fever of 101.8 F (38.8 C) & he already knows what it felt like when he previously had meningitis. I also recommend that he be evaluated at emergency room. It is better to be safe than sorry. He can be tested later for COVID.
