Cystic Kidneys: Cysts in the kidneys can replace/reduce functional kidney tissue and therefore cause kidney problems. There are a variety of types of Cysts and associated problems. Most infants with cystic kidneys can live a normal life and have normal life length. Follow up care will involve Dr visits to make sure that the kidneys continue working correctly.
