What does thickening of kidney tissue mean in a 20 week fetus one md says ds the other says it means it's developing. what's your thought?

Kidney thickening: Not aware of the acronym "DS", but any abnormal finding in a fetus by ultrasound should be followed by another sonogram in a few weeks to establish any progression. Consult an expert in maternal fetal medicine to review the pictures. This will prepare the pediatrician for action upon delivery if necessary.
