Word games: I don't consider such a label worth considering. You are either concussed after an event or not.

Confusion: A concussion is a closed head injury where the brain bounces against the bony skull when the head is struck by any type of blow. This results in a brain bruise or concussion. If you have no symptoms whatsoever, then it is not considered a concussion. There is no medical condition called "sub-concussion".
