The concussion is unrelated to the fever and nasal drip. Sinusitis is more likely the cause of the symptoms. It is uncommon to get a cerebrospinal (CSF) fluid leak after a head trauma. When a CSF leak does occur the blow is usually severe enough to cause a loss of consciousness. Imaging of the brain and sinuses will distinguish between the sinusitis and CSF leak. See an ENT specialist.
