An infection:: Sounds like she has an infection of some kind. It is hard to say what kind without an exam and sometimes testing. It could be COVID-19 or something else. Please have her call or see her doctor. If she gets worse (very weak, trouble swallowing or breathing), take her to an Emergency Department or immediate care clinic.
