Work can change: fluid levels. Especially being on ones feet causes water to fall to the bottom of feet. Use of hands can cause swelling and fluid in hands. It could be a lot of other serious problems, but generally it isn't. Changes in intake of salt and fluid might help or a mild diuretic.
