A member asked:

I heard that the immune system might not be normal in those with alzheimer's disease. i am 55 and in very good health, but i'm also in the early stages of alzheimer's disease. am i at high risk for getting severely ill if i get covid-19?

COVID 19: Not necessarily, since your health is otherwise good & you are younger than 65. Comorbid conditions which can increase risks include: diabetes, severe obesity, chronic pulmonary disease & asthma, liver or kidney disease, significant cardiac problems, being immunocompromised (such as HIV/AIDS, organ transplants, cancer treatments).
