Need to find cause: A high level of CRP in the blood is a marker of inflammation. It can be caused by a wide variety of conditions, from infection to cancer. High CRP levels can also indicate that there's inflammation in the arteries of the heart, which can mean a higher risk of heart attack. I would allow the Dr to continue testing until they find the source in order to treat the underlying condition.

Agree with Dr. K : While you doctor is trying to find out the cause, you can do things to help yourself. Exercise regularly, if you are even slightly overweight, lose weight, abstain from alcohol, tobacco, and street drugs. Have a healthy diet: Visit this site for information about nutrition: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Wish you good health!
