I went to an ob/gyn on thur and she ran the usual tests. so she tells me to actually check if my tubes are blocked i would need to do a test both me and my partner which costs r2500 my first question is is there a cheaper way to deduce any blockage?

Some basics: There is the classical x-ray study called a hysterosalpingogram that is used to definitively show tube blockage. Your partner is not required for such a study, but he should have some studies done if there is a fertility issue. How much these studies cost is a local issue that can only be addressed by contacting other local sources.
