If your son’s mouth is mostly open during the day & night, dentist or orthodontist skilled in early intervention & upper airway development can help identify & treat if he is a mouth breather due to a small jaw. He may have functional restrictions in his tongue & lips (frenum) that can be easily treated & an Oral Myofunctional Therapist will help correct those postures. Hope this helps!
