In may of this year i had 3 bouts of tonsillitis,since then i have been battling with sore throat, post nasal drip. ent ruled out strep.

I assume: infectious mono has been ruled out. VIRAL sore throats can last for weeks and often DRYNESS and/or ALLERGIES prolong symptoms! Hope this is helpful BTW HUMIDIFY your sleeping are ...this may help! Just a thought Dr Z
