A member asked:

I am a 29-year-old trying to conceive. my endometrial lining was 0.7cm on cycle day 12 and i ovulated on day 16-17. is it normal to achieve pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Thickness varies: The endometrial lining varies in thickness based upon the phase of the menstrual cycle and hormone stimulation. Estrogen is dominate on Day 12 and progesterone will only occur after ovulation. Is 0.7 centimetres enough for conception? That is unknown as it is too early in the cycle to make that a definitive answer.
