A member asked:

What are the chances of conceiving days before ovulation? regular periods. healthy previous pregnancies. no current medications. 23 years old.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Zero: By definition, you can't conceive before you ovulate b/c there's no egg there to fertilize. But, if what you're asking is, "Can I conceive if I have unprotected sex days before I ovulate?", the answer is YES. Sperm can live in your reproductive tract for up to 3 days. If you had unprotected sex 3 days before you ovulated, you could conceivably conceive.
