Neuropathy: A nerve conduction test of the hand testing the median and ulnar nerves (motor and sensory components) may take approximately 15 minutes. If an EMG (electromyography) is performed may take additional 15 to 20 minutes depending abnormalities found. The process of signing in and waiting in between tests may take approximately another 30 minutes so be prepare to spend about one hour at least.
