My husband got 2 pieces of a metal object in his vein on his hand and the hospital did not take them out. will he be ok ?

Unclear: We don't have enough information here to make a determination and i can't imagine what type of metal he received or its purpose(iv catheters are plastic/teflon). Unless there's something else going on here, i suspect they should be removed. Please check with his primary care physician to examine his hand and make an accurate determination.
