Pulmonary regurg: Mild pulmonary valve regurgitation or insufficiency rarely if ever causes symptoms nor does it require prophylactic therapy antibiotic therapy . If associated with a medical condition, that condition should be corrected in order to avoid progression of the insufficiency. Surgery is the only effective treatment for pr and may be indicated in severe symptomatic cases.
