I have had a post nasal drip and wet cough for about 3 days now. been taking lincatagon c and medlemon. symptoms seem to be getting better. is it a flu or should i be screened for covid?

Screen: The symptoms of COVID 19 may be variable, but are usually associated with temperature elevation min. 100.4 . If you have experienced temperature elevation, screening is suggested. A non COVID 19 illness is also certainly possible. If you develop worsening symptoms, please see you PCP. Influenza screening may be completed at the same time as COVID 19 screening. Rest, avoid contacts and drink flu

COVID concerns: Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. YoOur symptoms could be from a number of causes to include COVID 19. The only way to know if it is from COVID 19 is to be tested for it. take care.
