My 19 year old daughter, a type 1 diabetic has flu symptoms such as dry cough, body aches, stuffy nose, mild diarrhea and loss of taste. should she get tested for covid-19?

YES: Need to test ASAP as she is at increased risk of complications from Covid due to her diabetes. Test and contact her doctor, drink plenty of liquids, get plenty of rest and maintain tight control of glucose.
