Specializes in Pediatrics

Obstetrics: Call an Obstetric doctor. They specialize in pregnancy. When you call, let them know your pregnancy test was positive and they will ask you about your last menstrual period to figure out how far along you are. According to your dates, they will make an appointment. From weeks 4-28 you will be seen monthly, from weeks 28-36 you will be seen every two weeks, after 36 weeks they will see you weekly.

Seek an obs team: One of the best ways to help you have a safe and healthy pregnancy, labor, delivery and post partum care is to seek the services of an obstetrical team (doctors, midwives, nutritionist, obstetrical nurses, medical assistants...) and schedule your prenatal visit as early as you can.
