A member asked:

I've had a swollen lymph node in my neck for about 2 months.it hurt at first, but not anymore.it's still swollen, and the right side of my neck hurts when swallowed.i have no other symptoms.the doctor told me it could be just an infection. i'm scared?

See below: I would not ignore this- While it will may be from an infection, it could also be more serious - lymphomas and other cancers can first show up as a swollen lymph node in the neck - it has been there for two months, and you are still having symptoms-I would suggest that you return to your doctor, for a more complete exam -Good luck
