My 12 year old son has been complaining about a chest pain on his left side. the pain comes and goes. it's painful when he breathes. his been getting it since yesterday. he is skinny and generally very healthy.

Chest wall: Chest wall muscular strain may be a cause of the pain. If he is otherwise we'll, apply local heat and use Ibuprofen for pain. Watch for difficulty breathing, cough and fever. Please see your pediatrician for follow up
