Probably not DVT: DVT symptoms include calf pain, unilateral swelling, redness, warmth and a heavy achy feeling. Ultrasound is the most common diagnostic tool, but the dr can also order a d-dimer or a venogram. Other explanations for the pain include muscle injury/overuse, tendon inflammation, infection, lack of movement or exercise. Try standing up at least every half hour. Stretch leg straight bring toes back.
