The past 6 to 8 months i have been having a horrible feeling like something is stuck in my throat and feels like i will throw up. what should i ask my gp to refer me to a specialist for or how can he check my problem ?

GP exam: See your GP. In addition to taking your vital signs, they will look in your throat and feel the sides of your neck, they might also order an Xray or CT scan of your throat. It could be as simple as a swollen tonsil or as serious as a mass, but the exam is the first step. They can also determine if you need to see a specialist.
