A member asked:

My husband had a quadripal bypass on the 11 march, and has a lot pain pain in his hands and cannot feel them, he was told that it would get better its only got worse, and no also has severe chest pains on the right side under the breast?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hand pain : Feeling in the hand is felt by nerves. Numbness in the hand can be circulation issues or a nerve issue. Numbness in after cardiac bypass and right-sided chest pain should be evaluated. I wonder if the process of opening the ribs caused compression on the thoracic outlet through the pectoralis muscle. Severe chest pain should be evaluated urgently
