This sounds like: Costochondritis,an inflammation of the joint(s) that connect the sternum to the ribs.Advil (ibuprofen) should help.Does it hurt when you press down over the pain?If so,this is your chest wall.If not,then it could be pleurisy,an inflammation of the lining of the lung.If persists,have your Doc take a look.All the best...
