Needs ER visit : Pain at left side of chest is always a concern as cardiac origin is a possibility. My recommendation is that you need to be seen and evaluated at local Emergency Room to make sure nothing bad is going on. When cardiac origin will be ruled out, we can think of other causes, including Muscle Strain, Pleuritic pain, Costochondritis etc. Take care
