Splinting: If your tooth was traumatized and now mobile, it's best to have it evaluated by a dentist. It may be fractured. In any event, temporary splinting to the adjacent sound teeth can be easily done if deemed necessary by your dentist.

Loose tooth: May have fractured root or fractured tooth-supporting bone. You really need to see your Dentist for examination, probable x-rays, splinting. What would you use at home to splint the tooth? How would you know if position was correct? How would you put it on? How would you check the occlusion? How long would you leave it on? How would you get it off? How would you check tooth vitality? Not DIY!
