A member asked:

How long would you expect someone to survive with a hemoglobin of 30ish (3), no sudden bloodloss no underlying issues except maybe weakened heart?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to guess but: The challenges that face a person with heart disease are very different, depending on the type of problem, the severity of the disorder, and the age of the person. Some people have no visible symptoms, and live a normal lifestyle. Other people have such a weak heart that even walking is difficult. With children, some have problems that make them become short-of-breath and bluish with exertion.
