I have been dealing with lower back pain that goes into my back of my legs for 7 years. i have been seeing the same doctor office for 3 years now. they right away put me on medication for my legs, and muscle relaxers, but it does not help my back?

Discuss with your Dr: Since you are under treatment, discuss this concern at the next visit. You might need injections, nerve ablation, physical,therapy or other treatments as the current ones are. It helping. Which one will depend on the cause of YOUR pain, and your Dr will know better than a web based opinion, because he/she has examined you, your x rays, MRI or EMG to determine diagnosis, good luck
