I got a tattoo 4 years ago and im just worried because i hear lots of scary stories about hiv. i got a bunch of blood work done last month and everything was normal. i havent been tested for hiv though. would it have shown up in my blood work?

See below: First routine blood work does not ususally test for HIV- if you are concerned, ask specifically for an HIV test- Your chances of getting HIV from a tatoo are very , very low - I am not aware of an reported cases of HIV transmission through tatoos- so practice safe sex, and if you are concerned get an HIV test-
