Persistent = see Dr.: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc. Some people temporarily try OTC Tylenol, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Excedrin, or their generic brands. A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache or one that won't go away (like this case) should be examined by a doctor.

Headache: Chronic insomnia can be a cause for headache or vice versa. Headache itself can be for various causes. Common headaches include tension headaches, sinus headaches or migraine headaches. I would have a discussion with a provider. Actually that is easy to do on this platform. You are on the HealthTap general site, but log back in and you can find a provider you could discuss this with.
