i had 1st degree/ borderline 2nd degree sunburn on my legs over 4 days ago. they have gone from red & sore to very itchy and a blue/purple mottled colour. no peeling, blistering or dryness, but small red marks all over. any ideas?

Healing possibly: This could be a phase of healing or you could be reacting to topical lotions, called contact dermatitis. Rarely some forms of cellulitis or vasculitis might present this way. Topical prescription steroids may help. Please see a physician if getting worse
