My left side has been hurting and when i press on it it hurts. the pain generates either from the left side of liver, sleen, stomach, colon area. some times it even hurts near my belly button and even right under my sternum. what is wrong?

Need info: How long has this been going on? Any fever or other symptoms? Does it hurt when you press on the lower right side of the belly? Does it hurt more when you press or more when you release after pressing? How are your stools? If you are a female, how are your periods. Leave in comments section so I can reply. Thanks!
