I had a colonoscopy 2 days ago, after a 2 day cleanse. i'm in a lot of pain in my upper abdomen. could my colon be bruised?

It's possible, but..: Most often, the colonoscopy is an uneventful procedure, but on occasion, depending on your body position while getting the scope and the amount of "snaking" of the scope that need to be done, you may have some abd discomfort afterwards. Be sure to call the Dr. who performed the procedure and let them know as they would want to know any difficulties you are experiencing. best wishes.
