Good: Lexapro is quite helpful for depression, generally easy to take. There have been no studies looking at fertility, it does on occasion decrease libido and for men can delay ejaculation. It is always best to not be on meds while pregnant but it is safer to use a good treatment than to struggle with serious symptoms of depression . Similar meds have shown no concern for birth defects
