I am struggling with dry painful eyes. i got prescription glasses last year but it's not helping. i have noticed small bump on the white part of my eyes close to the nose side. it feels like a foreign object that's causing me pain and discomfort.

Need a lubricant: Prescription glasses will help only with the vision component not the dry eye problem. You should also be using an eye lubricant or replacement tears type of drops for your eyes. These are sold over the counter or by prescription by your opthalmalogist. Also have the eye dr check your bump as it may be caused by irritation.
