saw doctor for dry eye and got glasses prescription instead. can dryness cause vision changes & should i go for a 2nd opinion if exam didn't investigate dryness?

Yes: Did you see an ophthalmologist? You can treat dry eyes with over the counter artificial tears. If this is not adequate, then an evaluation is appropriate.
