Talk to your dentist: This would be a question for your dentist. He/she knows your teeth and gums from regular checkups and can advise on specific types of toothpaste. They can also advise on the cause of the bleeding/ gum pain. If you are taking blood thinners, talk to your prescribing doctor about the gum bleeding.

Bleeding Gingiva: Dental care is not just a mouth full of toothpaste. Have you had any dental treatment (exams, cleanings) over the past few years? If not, now is the time. If yes, ask your dentist to explain why you have this issue.

Gum disease: Proper oral hygiene is more than just choice of dentifrice. Gum disease is insidious, slow to progress, and adversely affects other organ systems. No OTC. is going to cure your infection. Please see a General Dentist for treatment or referral to a specialist Periodontist. Please do not put this off.
