Is 419 a high platelet level that suggests cancer? mine has been in the high 300's for years now, but this is the first time it has went way above normal. thanks

Within normal limits: Reference (normal) range for platelets is 150,000-450,000 per microliter of blood. Many factors cause fluctuations within this range such as nutrition status, medications used etc. This range has nothing to do with cancer.

High platelets : Your platelets are mildly elevated and there are many other situations in which they are elevated, aside from cancer. Your treating physician should be able to followup properly.
