Within normal limits: Reference (normal) range for platelets is 150,000-450,000 per microliter of blood. Many factors cause fluctuations within this range such as nutrition status, medications used etc. This range has nothing to do with cancer.

High platelets : Your platelets are mildly elevated and there are many other situations in which they are elevated, aside from cancer. Your treating physician should be able to followup properly.
