A member asked:

Hello dr's, my baby is 11 months old and she does not drink water often, but she is very active and eats very good, so what can i do about it?

Quit worrying: An infant gets fluid value from fluids and many of the other foods they are offered. Most vegetables are 60% water and applesauce is 95% water. If they can pee every 6 hrs they are hydrated. There is no reason to feed an infant extra water. If you want to have a relative or friend offer water as a social event, fine, but beyond that let this alone.
