Drinking water while being lying down full flat ,can harm ears like in babies or not for adults?

Eustachian tube prob: The structure that usually keeps fluid from accumulating in the middle ear (the eustachian tube) is angled differently inside the infant and child than in the adult. Until they grow larger and the angle of the tube changes, fluids consumed while laying flat are more likely to irritate or enter the middle ear space, possibly leading to infections. Water is less of a problem than other fluids.

Water: It is almost impossible for a person to drink water lying flat unless yo are drinking water from a bottle with a nipple on it
