A member asked:

Does a ck total blood work involve the heart ? what does low or high results indicate ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, elevated CK in blood is more likely to be due to skeletal muscle disease. Wish you good health!
