I am currently on targin as a main medication for an injury. i have taken 5mg today. is it safe to take 2.5mg of zolpidem? i have not slept in 3 days and just want some good quality sleep.

Probably ok: Strong pain meds like Targin tend to cause drowsiness in many people, but in some it can have the opposite effect. A low dose of Zolpidem like 2.5 mg should be safe to try but be very careful when getting up out of bed due to possible dizziness/drowsiness. If this does not help contact your Dr who prescribed the Targin & Dr may try a different pain med

I took 10mg of zolpidem, then after two ours I took 10mg.... after six hours now could I take another dose of 10mg? so total 30. I need to sleep.
