Hand surgeon: You may have carpal tunnel syndrome where ligament thickening at the wrist presses on nerves entering your hand. Consult a hand surgeon or neurologist for evaluation and advice. EMG testing may be advised. Treatment for this may be a splint for your wrist, injection of corticosteroid, physical therapy or surgery.
