My 2 year old son has a tiny hole on his concha part of the ear. it had dirt that we squeezed out like a blackhead. he doesn't seem to be in pain. is this cause for concern? what is the cause? could it be an underlying symptom of something bigger?

It happens: There are pores in this tissue like there are in other parts of the skin. Sometimes this will occur but it need not be a cause for concern.
