For 4-5 weeks i have soreness to take deep breath and wheezing - dry scratchy throat and lots of throat clearing - dry cough no real phlegm - last couple days rib soreness left side - no fever - though headache off and on - inhaler not working ?

Virtual consultation: Your asthma or respiratory plan should be evaluated. If you are using more Albuterol than usual, or if there is a lack of response, a steroid may be added. A three to five day course of Prednisone may be used. Chest wall pain may be related to muscular strain and the use of local heat and Ibuprofen may be used. Avoid dust, mold and other common allergens. Antihistamine may be tried.
