It started with a cough. i went to immediate care and was prescribed an inhaler for wheezing that was heard. however im still experiencing a popping cracking sensation when i exhale thats kind of in my throat. no fever, no sore throat?

Where is the popping sensation occurring? Is it in your throat or chest wall? If you coughed forcefully, you could have injured either something in your neck or in your chest wall. A CT scan of the area may help in the diagnosis and to see if there is anything that would need to be treated. Controlling the cough to prevent further injury would be needed as well. See a lung doctor for evaluation.
