I have a small circular bulge that appears to be a vein on my right knee cap. it goes away when i lay down and elevate. not painful to walk on but the bulge is more prominent when im on my feet. ?

Varicosity?: My first question is if you’ve had many children. If you have, that is super common to have dilated veins in the lower extremities, including the knees. I’ve had six children so I feel you girl! But these do not pose immediate dangers to you. It’s just a reminder of the wonderment of motherhood.

Varicose veins: What you are describing sounds like a varicose vein. If it is not causing any problems then just leave it alone. You may want to see a vein specialist to confirm this. Sometimes this can be treated is it is a vein by simply injecting it with a solution to dissolve it.
